Temple Worship Center COGIC is a Christ-centered, pentecostal, word and worship experience. Temple members are a diverse group of worshipers from the community and different parts of the state of Tennessee; from as far west as Jackson and as far northeast as Clarksville.
Temple Worship Center is located in Parsons, Tennessee an hour and a half west of Nashville and forty-five minutes east of Jackson, Tennessee. Temple has been an integral part of the community since the 1920's.
Bishop Joseph E. Fisher, who was born and raised in the community has served as the pastor since 1989. Bishop Fisher is also the Superintendent of the Parsons District, which is an organization of seven other churches which are all part of the Tennessee Central Jurisdiction of Tennessee, where Bishop Brandon B. Porter serves as the Jurisdictional Prelate.
